Crime: Bid to kidnap boy foiled, five booked

An attempt to abduct a student in Airport area was foiled by the school staff on Thursday.

RAWALPINDI: An attempt to abduct a student in Airport area was foiled by the school staff on Thursday. Principal of the private school, which is located in the Airport Housing Society, Malik Irfan lodged a report with the police that Bilal and his accomplices entered the school premises and tried to abduct Omar Bangash, who is a student of grade nine. The staff present at the school managed to save the boy, however the alleged kidnappers promised of dire consequences before making an escape. The police registered a case against the suspected men and the family of the boy were informed about the incident.
