Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Florida mansion was raided by federal agents and local police on Wednesday morning, with the rapper claiming that firearms and drugs were seized during the operation. Tekashi, who was kept in handcuffs from 9 AM to 3 PM while law enforcement searched his home, insists that he is not involved in any criminal activity. In an exclusive statement to TMZ, the rapper stated, “I’m just chilling on house arrest, I did nothing wrong.”
According to Tekashi, the authorities took DNA samples from him and sifted through his residence, reportedly recovering guns and drugs. The rapper claims that the feds want to test his DNA against the items found. Despite his claims, the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office has not confirmed whether drugs or firearms were indeed seized during the raid.
The Sheriff's Office confirmed that federal U.S. Probation officers, alongside Palm Beach Sheriff's Office Narcotics Investigators, executed a search warrant as part of a probation check. They also indicated that whatever was found during the raid couldn’t immediately be connected to Tekashi 6ix9ine, and further testing is required.
The authorities added that Tekashi was not arrested during the raid, as there was no probable cause. He was handcuffed purely for officer safety during the search.
Tekashi 6ix9ine, known for his controversial past and legal issues, is currently under house arrest, and despite the raid, he insists he is not engaging in any criminal activity.
