Revolutionising real estate: AI agent generates $100M in sales for Portugal
Portuguese brokerage firm Porta da Frente Christie's has reported $100 million in sales, thanks to its implementation of eSelf AI's technology.
This marks a major milestone as the company utilizes the first-ever AI-powered real estate agent to generate leads and drive sales.
eSelf AI, has revolutionised the way real estate services are delivered by enabling 24/7 customer support with instant, in-depth knowledge across more than 5,000 properties in Porta da Frente Christie's portfolio.
According to João Cília, CEO of Porta da Frente Christie's, the AI agent has delivered “great results” since its live testing began a year ago, offering services that surpass traditional consultants in both speed and accuracy.
“It's impossible for a human to be familiar with all the details of over 5,000 properties, but the AI agent knows everything about them,” said Cília. “Customers receive faster, more precise service right from the start.”
The AI agent assists clients by gathering basic information like city, budget, and preferred number of bedrooms, then instantly searches listings, providing virtual tours and detailed property information.
Additionally, it has proven invaluable for customers in different time zones, especially Americans and Brazilians, who often face a significant time difference with Portugal.
Unlike human consultants, who work only during business hours, the AI agent ensures continuous service around the clock, easing the burden on Porta da Frente Christie's staff and improving customer satisfaction.
As Cília noted, the technology reduces the need for extensive online searching, as the AI agent quickly narrows down the best options based on client preferences.
Alan Bekker, CEO and co-founder of eSelf AI, explained that the company's technology goes beyond simple responses. “We not only offer a moving face that talks, but we also provide video and image-sharing capabilities, turning large language models into a fully interactive visual experience,” he said.
Looking to the future, Cília believes the adoption of AI agents will revolutionize real estate sales by significantly reducing the reliance on physical commercial consultants, potentially making property transactions more cost-efficient.
