Crime: Fake tea leaves factory raided

The Peshawar District Coordination Officer Siraj Ahmed Khan, along with Peshawar Special Magistrate Habibullah Arif, raided a fake tea leaves factory on Ashraf Road on Thursday and seized a large amount of chemicals used in preparing fake tea leaves.
The police also arrested three people, including Syed Zia Ahmed, Mumtaz and Hanif during the raid, who were busy making fake tea leaves.
According to the police, the leaves were being distributed to various shopkeepers in Peshawar as well as Punjab. The suspects were handed over Shaheed Khan Raziq Police Station for further investigations.
