Millie Bobby Brown, the Stranger Things actress, has revealed her plans to start a family with her husband, Jake Bongiovi. The couple, who tied the knot in 2024, discussed their future family goals and how important it is to Millie to have children.
On the SmartLess podcast on March 10, she shared that her desire for motherhood has been with her for years, inspired by the way her parents raised her.
"My mum had me when she was 21, and my dad was 19," Millie explained, noting that starting a family had always been a dream of hers. While Millie is eager to become a mother, she also acknowledges the importance of establishing herself further in her career as an actor and producer. However, the couple's differing timelines saw Jake requesting that they wait until after marriage to begin their family planning.
“I really want a big family," Millie added. Both she and Jake are one of four children, so having a large family is important to them. Millie also shared her openness to various ways of expanding their family, saying that she doesn't view biological children as any different from adoption. "Our home is full of love for anyone and anything," she said, emphasising their belief in an inclusive and loving environment.
Currently, Millie and Jake’s home is filled with the love of rescued farm animals, including goats, ponies, and donkeys. Millie lovingly bottles feeds the animals, calling them her “babies,” and the couple has enjoyed caring for them together as a precursor to their future family plans.
