Lil Meech has made it clear where his loyalty lies amid the ongoing feud between his father, Big Meech, and BMF producer 50 Cent. The actor, who portrays his father in the hit STARZ series, recently took to Instagram to celebrate Big Meech’s release from prison, signaling his unwavering support despite the increasing hostility from 50 Cent.
"Before I asked God for anything I made sure I asked him to bring my father home to my family," Lil Meech wrote. "My prayers were answered. I love u Dad. Death B4 Dishonor." The closing statement appears to be a direct response to 50 Cent’s relentless trolling, which has targeted both father and son in recent months.
The fallout between Lil Meech and 50 Cent became public when the rapper and TV mogul shared a private DM exchange in which Lil Meech attempted to de-escalate their feud, even taking a jab at Rick Ross to gain favor. "F*ck Ross but he gave my dad some bread so he can afford to pay his bills until our next season starts," Lil Meech wrote. However, 50 was unmoved, instead using the moment to call out Lil Meech’s alleged lack of professionalism on the BMF set and claiming he struggled with drug use.
"I’m telling MeMe I don’t want him doing drugs," 50 Cent posted on Instagram in February. "He telling him he use to do X like it’s cool. I tell meme chill stop spending all ya money, he telling him how much money he blew. People don't know I had to send MeMe to rehab... Russell Hornsby peeped he was high as f*ck on set he started throwing up at a weapons test."
With both sides doubling down, it seems unlikely that Lil Meech and 50 Cent will reconcile anytime soon. As the BMF series continues, fans are left wondering how this rift will impact its future and Lil Meech’s role in the show.
