Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf and his wife, Muzna Masood Malik, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The news was shared by Rauf’s fellow cricketers, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan, on social media platforms.
The birth of the couple’s son was confirmed by Shaheen Afridi, who shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. "Congratulations to my brother Haris Rauf on the birth of his baby boy," Afridi wrote.
He also wished the family endless joy and happiness, praying that Allah blesses them with continued happiness. Shadab Khan, also extended his warm congratulations, writing, "Wishing health, happiness, and prosperity for the little one and the family. May Allah bless you."
While Haris Rauf has yet to publicly comment on the arrival of his son, his teammates have been quick to celebrate the occasion and share their heartfelt wishes.
Haris Rauf, who tied the knot with Muzna Masood Malik in December 2022 in a private ceremony in Islamabad, has made significant strides in his cricketing career. Muzna, a model by profession, and Haris have since enjoyed a low-key married life, with the arrival of their first child marking a new chapter for the couple.
In December 2023, Haris and Muzna celebrated their wedding reception in a grand affair attended by close friends and family.
Haris Rauf, who started his cricket journey playing tape-ball cricket, quickly rose to prominence after being picked by the Lahore Qalandars for the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
His performances led him to represent the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League (BBL). Rauf’s career took off when he made his T20I debut for Pakistan in 2020. Since then, he has become a key player for Pakistan, amassing 85 wickets in 48 one-day internationals and 110 wickets in 79 T20 internationals.
