Bollywood celebrities flooded social media with congratulatory messages as India clinched their third ICC Champions Trophy title, defeating New Zealand by four wickets in the final in Dubai on Sunday.
Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar expressed his excitement on X, writing: "Hurray !!! Boys you have done it !!! Congratulations to you and to the whole nation."
Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri praised captain Rohit Sharma’s leadership, posting: "Wow! Wow, #TeamIndia. You are champions. Congrats @ImRo45 for leading India to such a comprehensive victory and great tournament."

With this victory, India became the first team to win the Champions Trophy three times. Rohit Sharma, who was named Man of the Match, joined MS Dhoni as the only Indian captains to have won multiple ICC trophies in white-ball cricket.
