Mustafa murder probe to unmask sinister web
Investigation into the kidnapping and subsequent gruesome murder of Mustafa Aamir has exposed a complex web of high-end drug traffickers who supplied imported narcotics in the posh neighbourhoods of the metropolitan city.
The network was unearthed on the bases of information gleaned from Armughan, during investigation.
Sources privy to the investigation told The Express Tribune that the investigation is particularly centered on how illicit drugs, including methamphetamine (ice) and other expensive narcotics, are being distributed in the affluent areas of Karachi.
The investigators found that various social media platforms are being exploited as part of the drug sales network, indicating the presence of a sophisticated system operating within the city.
