Indian actress Shehnaaz Gill, who rose to fame through reality show, has faced significant criticism on social media after a recent video circulated online.
The video, which shows Shehnaaz interacting with a woman at an event, has left many online users frustrated and led them to label her as arrogant.
In the video, the woman approaches Shehnaaz to talk about her haircare brand. However, Shehnaaz’s response was seen as dismissive and rude.
When the woman attempted to engage her in conversation, Shehnaaz responded by asking, “Do you have money to pay me to perform?” When the woman offered to pay immediately, Shehnaaz replied, “You can’t afford me,” before directing her to speak with her manager.
Although the woman appeared to take Shehnaaz’s remark in stride and laughed it off, social media users did not take kindly to the interaction. Many users criticised Shehnaaz for her apparent arrogance and rudeness.
In the comments section of the viral video, users expressed their disappointment, with one user writing, “Who do you think you are? What have you done to have such an attitude?” Another commenter added, “Shehnaaz Gill needs to fix her attitude.” Others stated, “Such comments shouldn’t even be made in jest. This behaviour is inappropriate, especially for a public figure.”
