Angelina Jolie recently showed her support for daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt by attending a mother-daughter brunch in Montgomery, Alabama. The event, hosted by Women in Training, Inc. on March 1, featured Zahara, 20, as a speaker. The nonprofit, founded by 17-year-old sisters Breanna and Brooke Bennett, aims to address period poverty.
According to photos from the gathering, Zahara—currently a student at Spelman College—took the stage to deliver a speech, while her mother watched from the audience. Both Angelina and Zahara dressed in coordinated white outfits and posed with guests at the event. This public appearance was another moment where Angelina supported Zahara, as she previously accompanied her to high-profile events, including the Golden Globes in January.
Jolie, 48, shares six children—Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16—with her ex-husband Brad Pitt. With her children growing more independent, the Maria star has found the opportunity to step back into acting, a transition she recently discussed. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in 2024, she noted that her children are now at an age where they can accompany her to work, marking a new phase in their lives.
However, despite growing up in the public eye, none of her children currently have an interest in pursuing acting. In a 2023 interview with Good Morning America, Jolie shared that her kids prefer a private life. “They weren’t born with privacy, but I hope they can have that as they grow,” she stated.
While Jolie respects her children’s privacy, her presence at the Women in Training event underscores her ongoing commitment to supporting their individual journeys.
