Jeff Goldblum stole the spotlight at the 2025 Academy Awards, not just for his effortlessly stylish outfit but for a candid moment that quickly went viral.

While waiting for the ceremony to begin at the Dolby Theatre, the Wicked actor was spotted casually scrolling through Instagram—checking out his own red carpet photos. The sight of Goldblum admiring his own look sent the internet into a frenzy.

Goldblum, who attended the event with his wife, Emilie Livingston, donned a cream-colored jacket over a patterned floral shirt, with an orchid pinned to his lapel and a lilac scarf draped around his neck. Livingston, meanwhile, dazzled in a bejeweled metallic gown.

However, it was Goldblum’s self-appreciation moment that truly stole the show. "This photo of Jeff Goldblum looking at his own red carpet pic at the Oscars is sending me," a user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, sharing a screenshot of the actor’s moment.

Later that night, during the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, an Entertainment Tonight reporter showed Goldblum the now-viral image."Oh my gosh," Goldblum reacted, removing his sunglasses for a closer look. His wife playfully defended him, saying, "Everybody does it!"

Fans were quick to respond to Goldblum’s moment of vanity, calling it both hilarious and relatable.

One fan humorously imagined the actor’s phone gallery, tweeting, "I bet his phone gallery is screenshots from Instagram of all his favorite looks over the years but he hasn’t gotten around to cropping any of them yet. That and pictures of photographs."

Another user simply called the moment "King shit," capturing the admiration many have for Goldblum’s effortless charm.

"I'd be doing the same," one person commented, while another joked, "He’s trying to make sure he got that good angle."

"Me stalking my own socials to see how I’m viewed," one fan wrote, perfectly summing up the internet’s collective amusement.

Goldblum, who is set to reprise his role as the Wizard in Wicked: For Good, releasing in November 2025, once again proved why he remains one of Hollywood’s most effortlessly charming stars—even when caught admiring his own red carpet presence.
