Occupational Safety: ILO to hold awareness workshops
The first workshop on “Occupational Safety & Health of Young Workers” would be held here from September 19 to 20.

International Labour Organization (ILO) will organise workshops to raise knowledge about ILO-related conventions and create awareness about the occupational safety and health of young workers. The first workshop on “Occupational Safety & Health of Young Workers” would be held here from September 19 to 20 while the second workshop entitled “Child Labour Monitoring Systems” would be convened from September 21 to 22, ILO media officer Zaheer Arif said. He told APP on Thursday that the key objectives of the workshops are to increase knowledge about various hazards that adolescent and young workers are subjected to on daily basis at work places.
