Gold prices continue to decline in both local and international markets
Gold prices have continued their downward trend for the fifth consecutive day, with declines recorded in both international and local markets.
According to Express News, in the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce dropped by $6, reaching $2,857.
Meanwhile, in local gold markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by 500 rupees, settling at 300,000 rupees. The price of 10 grams of gold also saw a decline of 438 rupees, bringing it down to 257,201 rupees.
Similarly, the price of silver per tola dropped by 10 rupees, reaching 3,240 rupees, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by 9 rupees, settling at 2,777 rupees.
Gold prices experienced a consistent decline, with significant drops observed on Friday.
Locally, the price of 24-carat gold per tola dropped by Rs2,500, bringing the price to Rs300,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold reduced by Rs2,143, bringing the new value to Rs257,639.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $24, reaching $2,863, further contributing to the ongoing downward trend in the market.
