The UK government is reportedly exploring legal avenues to extradite Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan, following their arrival in Florida from Romania.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Home Secretary Yvette Cooper is reviewing legal options to bring the brothers back to the UK, where they face rape and human trafficking charges.

The controversial influencers, Andrew, 38, and Tristan, 36, flew to Florida by private jet from Romania on Thursday, despite being under investigation for sex trafficking in the Eastern European country.

Upon landing in the US, the siblings credited former President Donald Trump for their sense of safety. However, Trump has denied any prior knowledge of them.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has publicly stated that the Tate brothers are not welcome in his state. He confirmed that legal experts, including Attorney General Ashley Moody, were exploring how to address their presence.

“Florida is not a place where you're welcome with that type of conduct,” DeSantis said. “Our attorney general is looking into what jurisdictions we have to deal with this.”

Andrew Tate, a self-described misogynist, was recently released from house arrest in Romania but was not permitted to leave the country. Their sudden flight to the US has raised questions about their legal standing and potential consequences.

If the UK proceeds with an extradition request, it could complicate the legal proceedings already underway in Romania and the US, as multiple jurisdictions seek to prosecute the controversial figures.

Earlier Andrew and Tristan Tate have arrived in Florida after Romanian authorities lifted their travel restrictions, allowing them to leave the country despite ongoing legal proceedings. The influencer brothers, who were arrested in Romania three years ago on charges of human trafficking and sexual intercourse with a minor—allegations they deny—touched down at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on Thursday.

However, their arrival was met with strong opposition from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who made it clear that the state had no role in their entry and that he does not welcome them.
