Attorney General Pam Bondi has sent a strongly worded letter to FBI Director Kash Patel, alleging that the bureau's New York field office has withheld thousands of pages of Jeffrey Epstein investigation documents.

She has given the FBI until Friday morning to turn over all related materials.

Bondi, who has vowed transparency regarding the Epstein case, claimed she initially received only 200 pages of files—significantly less than what was released in a civil lawsuit tied to Epstein’s convicted accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.

"I repeatedly questioned whether this was the full set of documents responsive to my request and was repeatedly assured by the FBI that we had received the full set of documents," Bondi wrote. "Late yesterday, I learned from a source that the FBI Field Office in New York was in possession of thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and indictment of Epstein."

She has ordered the FBI to deliver the complete case file, including documents, audio, and video recordings, by 8:00 a.m. on February 28. Additionally, Bondi has launched an internal investigation and called for personnel actions against those responsible for withholding the materials.

Patel responded on X, formerly Twitter, stating, "There will be no cover-ups, no missing documents, and no stone left unturned." He assured that any concealed records would be uncovered and transparently released to the public.

While Bondi previously promised a new batch of Epstein-related documents, it remains unclear if they will reveal significant new information. Sensitive victim details will be redacted before public disclosure.
