Andrew and Tristan Tate, the controversial social media influencers, have reportedly left Romania after travel restrictions imposed on them were lifted.
According to reliable sources in Bucharest, the brothers departed from Baneasa Airport by private jet shortly after 05:00 local time (03:00 GMT), heading towards the United States. The Tates had been under a travel ban since December 2023, following their arrest in connection with serious allegations of human trafficking, rape, and other charges, which they deny.
The Romanian prime minister previously denied any pressure from the US government regarding the decision to lift their travel ban, despite their dual UK-US nationality. A statement from their media team addressed the situation, saying, "While this news is undoubtedly predictable, we embrace the opportunity it presents to demonstrate their innocence and vindicate their reputation."
