Drake has canceled the remainder of his Australia and New Zealand tour due to a "scheduling conflict." The 38-year-old rapper left the country early Wednesday morning, flying back to Canada on his private jet after a night of partying at Brisbane nightclub The Tax Office until 4 AM.
He was originally scheduled to perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 4, followed by a return to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on March 7, before heading to Auckland for two shows on March 15 and 16.

"Why did Drake just cancel the rest of his tour and fly back to Canada?" one person wrote on social media.
Another added, "Drake does this every tour, why are y’all surprised?" Reports suggest that plans to cancel had been in discussion as early as Saturday, though fans were not informed until days later. Live Nation confirmed the remaining dates will be rescheduled, and refunds are available for those unable to attend the new shows.
Before leaving the country, Drake was seen in high spirits, arriving at the nightclub at 1:45 AM following his Brisbane concert. The venue was booked as a private event, with the rapper reportedly inviting between 300 to 400 women.
Upon arrival, guests had to surrender their phones to security before entering. He left the club at 4 AM, returned briefly to his hotel, then flew out of Brisbane at 6:40 AM. His private jet stopped in Fiji before continuing to Toronto via Hawaii.
Rumors about the cancellation have swirled, with some speculating that low ticket sales played a role. Drake had already completed two shows in Perth, four in Melbourne, four in Sydney, and two in Brisbane, though reports suggest his second Brisbane show had yet to sell out. There has also been speculation that his stage equipment was being shipped to Europe, fueling theories that he may be shifting focus to another leg of his tour.
While Live Nation has reassured fans that the tour will be rescheduled, Drake has yet to comment publicly on the decision. "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience," a spokesperson said.
"Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time on these shows and are excited to return soon." Fans are now left wondering whether the God’s Plan rapper will follow through on his promise to return—or if his quick exit signals the end of his time in Australia and New Zealand.
