Bollywood actor Govinda breaks silence on divorce rumours

Bollywood actor Govinda has addressed growing speculation about his marriage to Sunita Ahuja, saying he remains focused on his work amid reports of a possible separation.

Rumours surfaced this week claiming Sunita had sent a legal separation notice months ago.

However, Indian media reports indicate no further legal action has been taken.

When asked about the speculation, Govinda declined to comment directly, stating, "There are only business talks going on... I am in the process of starting my films."

His manager, Shashi Sinha, acknowledged that tensions exist between the couple, attributing them to statements made by certain family members. “There is nothing more to it, and we are trying to resolve it,” he said.

Meanwhile, entertainment journalist Vickey Lalwani reported that Govinda is eager to reconcile, but Sunita is hesitant.

Govinda’s nephew, Krushna Abhishek, denied the divorce rumours, insisting the couple would not part ways.

Earlier, Sunita had revealed in an interview that she and Govinda live separately, citing his demanding work schedule.

She later clarified that their bond remained strong, stating, "Nobody can separate us."

Govinda and Sunita have been married since 1987 and have two children together.
