Vawda doesn't see Imran coming out of jail in next 10 months
Senator Faisal Vawda has said that he does see any chance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan getting out of the jail before eight to 10 months, but stressed that the focus of the established was not on Imran but on Pakistan.
Talking on a private news channel, he said that no one was larger than the state anywhere in the world, so governments come and go Pakistan remains important. He said that the PTI has made a compromise and Imran would not be seen out of jail for the coming 10 months.
Responding to a question about the performance of the Pakistani cricket team, Vawda said that "our team hits sixes in the advertisements but they do not see the ball on the ground. Continuing, he said "democracy here is also seen in the advertisements, in reality, our politicians don't even see the ball".
He said that politicians run their parties like dictators. "All these people like to live in DHA. All are tarred with the same brush."
