At least six people were killed in separate firing incidents across Balochistan, prompting authorities to tighten security in the affected areas, police said.

Unidentified gunmen shot and killed a man named Abdullah in Qalat, reportedly due to an old enmity. Following the incident, the victim's family staged a protest on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway, blocking traffic for several hours. Meanwhile, in Panjgur, armed attackers opened fire and killed the Vice Chairman of Washuk district while he was in the local bazaar.

Police said the attackers managed to escape unchallenged.

In another incident, a man was shot dead in an armed attack in an unidentified district of Balochistan.

The motive behind the killing remains unknown, and authorities have launched an investigation.
