A$AP Rocky has emerged from a recent courtroom victory to step into a pivotal role as the first-ever Creative Director for Ray-Ban. Announced shortly after his acquittal in a Los Angeles felony assault trial, Rocky’s new position at Ray-Ban marks a significant transition from music and fashion icon to a major force in the eyewear industry.

Under the banner of Ray-Ban Studios, Rocky will launch his inaugural project in April: the Blacked Out Collection. This line reimagines Ray-Ban’s classic Mega Icons series with bold, gold-plated details and ultra-black lenses, blending traditional style with a modern twist.

Rocky expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, “I’ve always admired Ray-Ban’s ability to evolve while staying true to its roots. I’m excited to contribute to its legacy and help shape the future of an iconic brand.”

Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, President of Ray-Ban, commended Rocky’s visionary approach, aligning it with the brand’s longstanding ethos of leading cultural revolutions through style. This partnership kicks off as Rocky continues to make waves in fashion, also co-chairing the 2025 Met Gala and tantalizing fans with hints of his much-anticipated album, Don’t Be Dumb.
