Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro are dating, keeping their romance under wraps while attending events together.

Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro have been quietly seeing each other, a source told PEOPLE, noting that the couple has kept their relationship "lowkey."

The We Live in Time actor, 41, and A Complete Unknown actress, 34, first sparked dating rumors when they were seen posing together at W Magazine’s Best Performances party in Los Angeles on January 4, 2025, alongside Eddie Redmayne and Lynn Hirschberg.

Most recently, the pair was spotted sitting together at London’s Bridge Theatre for a performance of Richard II, starring Jonathan Bailey. A social media video from February 20 showed them chatting before the show, both dressed casually in baseball caps.

Reps for Garfield and Barbaro have not commented on their relationship.

Garfield was previously linked to spiritual reader Kate Tomas, with whom he split in late 2024. He also famously dated The Amazing Spider-Man co-star Emma Stone in the 2010s and was last in a public relationship with model Alyssa Miller in 2022.

Meanwhile, Barbaro, best known for Top Gun: Maverick, stars as folk legend Joan Baez in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, a role that earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Despite their growing public appearances, Garfield has maintained his stance on keeping his personal life private, telling Esquire in October 2024, "I have never, and I won’t ever, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone, ever."
