Traffic plan unveiled for CT matches in Rawalpindi

Traffic from Islamabad's 9th Avenue will be rerouted via Expressway and IJP Road.

The City Traffic Police Rawalpindi has unveiled a traffic plan to ensure smooth flow during the ICC Champions Trophy cricket matches scheduled from February 23 to 27 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

During the arrival and departure of cricket teams, Murree Road will be completely closed from Faizabad to Double Road Turn.

Traffic coming from Islamabad will be diverted via Expressway, while vehicles from Rawalpindi heading to Islamabad will be redirected through Chandni Chowk, Rehmanabad, and 6th Road via Saidpur Road.

Additionally, Stadium Road will remain closed from 9th Avenue Chowk to Double Road Turn.

Traffic from Islamabad's 9th Avenue will be rerouted via Expressway and IJP Road, entering Rawalpindi through Pandora Chowk, Katarian, Carriage Factory, and Pirwadhai Mor.
