Justin Baldoni’s legal team is pushing back against allegations as his lawyer, Bryan Freedman, provided insight into the actor’s mental state amid his ongoing legal dispute with It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively. Appearing on the Hot Mics With Billy Bush podcast, Freedman stated, "I think he's hopeful and I think he's grateful, he's grateful that he's with his family."

He confirmed that Baldoni, 41, is currently vacationing in Hawaii with his wife and children, emphasizing that the time away has helped him cope with the public scrutiny. However, he admitted that being accused of something he insists he did not do has taken a toll on him, describing the situation as "distressful to say the least."

Bush also brought up new allegations surfacing on social media, which claim that two other women had filed HR complaints against Baldoni. Freedman pushed back, questioning why "the dates are redacted," and stated, "I'm unaware of any HR complaints that have been filed."

The conversation then shifted to Lively’s recent SNL50: The Anniversary Special appearance with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, who was seen laughing and joking at the event. Addressing Reynolds’ seemingly lighthearted take on the controversy, Freedman remarked, "I'm unaware of anybody, frankly, whose wife has been sexually harassed and has made jokes about that type of situation. I can't think of anyone who's done anything like that. So it surprised me."

According to a DailyMail.com source, Baldoni’s legal team is considering using Lively’s SNL50 appearance as part of their defense, arguing that her presence and demeanor contradict her previous statements about suffering from "grief, fear, trauma, and extreme anxiety."

The source added, "It’s sending mixed messages. It feels like we are being gaslit and I fear it could be a wrong move." As the legal battle intensifies, Freedman affirmed that more evidence will come to light, declaring, "Justin has not been treated fairly." With both sides firmly standing their ground, the case continues to spark debate in Hollywood and beyond.
