Probe by JIT in poet Akash Ansari's murder case demanded

The complainant in the murder case of famous poet Dr Allah Bux aka Akash Ansari has requested the provincial government to constitute a joint investigation team (JIT) for a thorough investigation of the heinous offence.

Ibrahim Ansari alias Jan Muhammad on Tuesday wrote a letter to the Sindh Law Minister and IGP Sindh, outlining the reasons which necessitate the murder investigation by a team of experts. Separately, Anti-Terrorism Court Hyderabad on Tuesday granted four-day physical remand of Shah Latif Ansari, son of the slain poet who is the main accused in the FIR, to Bhitai Nagar police.
