The Rs100 prize bond draw No 49 took place on February 17, 2025, at the National Savings Centre in Rawalpindi.

Prize bonds are regarded as one of the safest investment options in Pakistan, offering the advantage of not losing the principal amount while having the opportunity to win substantial cash prizes.

Rs100 prize bond draws are held every three months, with cash prizes awarded to the winners in first, second, and third places.

Despite the low chances of winning, the high prizes continue to attract interest. The scheme is regulated by National Savings, which operates under Pakistan’s central bank.

The results of the Rs100 prize bond draw for February 2025 are as follows:

First prize (Rs700,000): 247226

Second prize (Rs200,000): 116352, 223214, 727137

Third prize (Rs1000): 1199 winners

 

Winners of prize bonds are required to claim their prize money at any office of the SBP Banking Services Corporation.

For amounts up to Rs20,000, winners can collect the prize the same day, subject to bond clearance. Amounts over Rs20,000 are distributed through a payment order on or after the specified claim dates.

 

The State Bank of Pakistan applies a 15% income tax on prize money for tax filers and a 30% tax for non-filers. For example, the first prize of Rs3,000,000 would incur a tax of Rs450,000 for filers and Rs900,000 for non-filers.

The second prize of Rs1,000,000 is taxed at Rs150,000 for filers and Rs300,000 for non-filers, while the third prize of Rs18,500 is taxed at Rs2,775 for filers and Rs5,550 for non-filers.

On January 1, the National Savings Division released the schedule for the 2025 prize bond draws, including those for national and premium bonds. The upcoming draws are as follows:

Rs. 1,500 Prize Bond Draws:

• February 17, 2025 (Monday) – Multan
• May 15, 2025 (Thursday) – Karachi
• August 15, 2025 (Friday) – Faisalabad
• November 17, 2025 (Monday) – Rawalpindi

Rs. 750 Prize Bond Draws:

• January 15, 2025 (Monday) – Karachi
• April 15, 2025 (Tuesday) – Peshawar
• July 15, 2025 (Tuesday) – Rawalpindi
• October 15, 2025 (Wednesday) – Muzaffarabad

Rs. 200 Prize Bond Draws:

• March 17, 2025 (Monday) – Faisalabad
• June 16, 2025 (Monday) – Quetta
• September 15, 2025 (Monday) – Multan
• December 15, 2025 (Monday) – Lahore

Rs. 100 Prize Bond Draws:

• February 17, 2025 (Monday) – Rawalpindi
• May 15, 2025 (Thursday) – Sialkot
