Stray Kids member Felix will be absent from the group’s fan meeting after suffering an arm fracture in a minor car accident, JYP Entertainment announced on February 16.
According to Soompi, the accident occurred on February 15 while Felix was returning home from a scheduled event. The agency explained that he was in a slowly moving vehicle in the Inspire Arena parking lot when a shuttle bus struck the left rear side of the car. While the collision itself was minor, the sudden shift in movement caused Felix to hit his arm against an armrest, resulting in a fracture.
Felix was immediately taken to a hospital for a thorough medical examination. Doctors advised him to rest and undergo proper treatment for his recovery. As a result, he will not be attending Stray Kids’ fifth fan meeting, SKZ 5’CLOCK, scheduled for February 16.
In an official statement, JYP Entertainment apologized to fans for the unexpected news and reassured them that Felix’s health remains the company’s top priority. “The health and recovery of the artist is our top priority, and we will provide all the necessary support,” the agency stated. JYP also announced plans to reinforce safety measures for its artists’ travel.
Fans have since flooded social media with messages of support, wishing Felix a quick recovery. Stray Kids, one of JYP Entertainment’s most prominent K-pop groups, has a dedicated global fanbase known as STAY, many of whom have expressed concern and encouragement for the singer.
While there is no official timeline for Felix’s return, JYP Entertainment emphasized that he will focus on recovery before resuming activities with the group.
