Elon Musk has publicly responded after conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair alleged that she gave birth to his child five months ago.

St. Clair, 26, made the claim on Friday in a post on X, stating that she and Musk share a child. Her representative, Brian Glicklich, later confirmed the news in an X post, saying the two had been privately working on a co-parenting agreement. He expressed frustration over media interference, stating, “It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially.” He added that they were waiting for Musk to publicly acknowledge his parental role.

Musk, 53, reacted on Saturday with a brief response, posting “Whoa” on X in reply to a post suggesting St. Clair had spent years planning to have his child. Shortly after, she responded, urging him to communicate with her directly. “Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded,” she wrote, calling him out for engaging with online speculation instead.

According to The New York Post, Musk has 12 other children from previous relationships. He shares five children with his first wife, Justine Wilson—twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. He also has three children with musician Grimes: X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus. Additionally, The New York Times reported that Musk has three children with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, including twins Strider and Azure, as well as a third child born in early 2024.

St. Clair stated that she initially kept the matter private to protect her child but felt compelled to speak out due to media scrutiny. In a follow-up post, she thanked supporters and wrote, “Kids should be off-limits for journalists.” Meanwhile, Musk has continued posting on X but has not addressed her claims further.
