Senior politician Mohammad Ali Durrani has called on JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to publicly acknowledge his mistake in supporting the 26th Constitutional Amendment and apologize to the nation.
Speaking to a private news channel, Durrani said that those who backed the amendment could not be considered an "opposition alliance" but rather a "government alliance".
He argued that the 26th Amendment had caused significant harm to Pakistan's judicial and constitutional systems, as well as the fundamental human rights of its citizens.
