Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, reportedly argued just moments before her headline-grabbing nude red carpet stunt at the 2025 Grammys, according to actress Riley Mae Lewis.

The rapper arrived at the event with Censori who dramatically dropped her coat to reveal a sheer dress with no underwear or bra. The display shocked onlookers, with photographers and bystanders reacting audibly. Moments later, the couple left without attending the ceremony.

Lewis, who stood near the pair, told The Sun she sensed tension between them before they stepped onto the carpet. “I thought they might’ve been arguing,” she said. “She didn’t look like she was fully on board with the scandal he wanted to create.”

A professional lip reader later claimed West encouraged Censori to expose her outfit, allegedly telling her to “make a scene.” A body language expert also suggested Censori appeared fearful, while a Hollywood PR strategist speculated West orchestrated the stunt “to get dollars in the till.”

The Grammy appearance preceded West’s four-day tirade on X (formerly Twitter), where he posted racist, antisemitic, misogynistic, and pornographic content before his account was either deactivated or removed.

During the outburst, he professed admiration for Adolf Hitler, declared “I’m a Nazi”, and withdrew his prior apology for antisemitic remarks. He also posted explicit videos and praised Elon Musk, claiming the billionaire “stole my Nazi swag.”
