Infant killed, three injured in blaze

An infant was killed and three young people were injured in a gas cylinder explosion at a residential building in Mahmoodabad. There was a cigarette lighter gas filling factory in the building. Police are investigating the incident.
Rescue 1122 officer Asif said that four people were seriously injured in the incident and were shifted to the hospital. The youngest of them, four-month-old Noor Fatima died during treatment. The injured include four-year-old Amber, 23-year-old Rimsha and 24-year-old Mubashir Omar according to a police spokesperson.
The rescue officer said that a gas cylinder exploded on the second floor of the building, causing a fire to break out in a room and the roof to collapse. However, the second room of the portion was partially damaged in the incident.
