Tnp Leader’s Death: Complete strike observed in Turbat

QUETTA: A complete strike was observed in Turbat and surrounding areas on Wednesday to protest against the killing of a leader of the Kech district chapter of the National Party (NP), Mohammad Hussain. He was shot dead in Turbat on Tuesday night. The strike call, given by the NP, and backed by local traders and transporters. A heavy contingent of law-enforcement agencies and security personnel were deployed in the area to maintain public order and avert any untoward incident. According an NP handout, the culprits involved in the incident would soon be unveiled, it said.
