Lionel Messi, Jay-Z, and Trump among big names at Super Bowl

Eagles win Super Bowl 59 in a 40-22 rout over Chiefs as Hollywood, Taylor Swift, and President Trump steal the show.

The Philadelphia Eagles clinched their second Super Bowl title with a commanding 40-22 victory over the defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, in New Orleans.

The highly anticipated showdown at the Superdome was not just a spectacle on the field but also a star-studded affair, drawing Hollywood elites, music icons, and even U.S. President Donald Trump.

The stands were filled with familiar faces, including Jay-Z, who was seen capturing moments of his daughter Rumi playing near the end zone while her sister Blue Ivy watched on. Notably absent was Beyoncé, whose presence at past Super Bowls has been a highlight.

President Trump made history as the first sitting U.S. president to attend a Super Bowl, accompanied by his daughter Ivanka and a large entourage. He was seen saluting as Jon Batiste performed the national anthem but left before the final whistle, later criticizing the game's kickoff time on Truth Social.

Elsewhere, sports royalty made an appearance as Inter Miami stars Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets took in the action.

Meanwhile, pop sensation Taylor Swift, supporting her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, was met with boos from Eagles fans when shown on the jumbotron. She was later spotted deep in conversation with musician and actress Alana Haim as Kansas City struggled in the first half.

Dressed in the blue and yellow colours of the Los Angeles Rams, Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin sat next to his wife Brenda Song - who also supports the LA franchise.

Actors Pete Davidson and Kevin Costner were spotted sharing a laugh ahead of the game kicking off.

The halftime show delivered its own surprises, with Samuel L. Jackson kicking things off in an Uncle Sam outfit before Kendrick Lamar took the stage, performing his hit Luther alongside R&B star SZA.

As the final whistle blew, the Eagles celebrated a triumphant win, capping off an evening that blended sports, entertainment, and political spectacle in true Super Bowl fashion.

The event did not just bring out the best the NFL has had to offer this season - but plenty of Hollywood A-listers, musicians and US President Donald Trump were spotted in the stands of the Superdome.
