Donald Trump took a swipe at Taylor Swift after bailing on Super Bowl 59 before halftime. The former president, who had predicted a Kansas City Chiefs victory, left the game early as the Philadelphia Eagles dominated with a 40-14 win.

Trump later shared a ruthless post on Truth Social, contrasting his cheers with Swift’s loud boos at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. He reshared a post stating:
"Trump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed."

In a subsequent attack, Trump posted, "The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift".

Swift, who was in attendance to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, watched as the Chiefs crumbled. Meanwhile, Trump had mingled with high-profile guests before making his early exit.

The tension between Trump and Swift is nothing new. The pop star has openly backed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, while Trump has criticized her political stance. In September, he declared:
"I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

Despite his endorsement of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the game didn’t go as Trump expected. He had previously praised Mahomes and his wife Brittany, hinting at their political alignment. However, the Eagles’ decisive victory shut down his prediction.

Trump’s Super Bowl presence was historic, making him the first sitting president to attend the event. However, his swift exit and social media jab at Swift only added to the night’s drama.

Taylor Swift’s presence at Super Bowl LIX also didn’t sit well with some football fans, who loudly booed her when she appeared on the jumbotron at the Caesars Superdome. Many fans mocked her online, joking about her breaking up with Kelce after game.

Others came to her defense and criticised the viewers for their reaction.

The Philadelphia Eagles emerged victorious over Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in a Super Bowl victory Sunday in New Orleans, spoiling a three-peat bid.
