Suthra Punjab road show planned

Divisional Commissioner Maryam Khan directed the authorities concerned on Thursday to organise a road show in Jhang on Saturday under the Suthra Punjab sanitation programme.

Presiding over a meeting, the official reviewed implementation of the programme and issued directives to deploy half of the resources required for the cleanliness service in Jhang by February 12.

The remaining equipment and human resources would be provided up to February 22. The commissioner said the Suthra Punjab programme would be implemented in letter and spirit across the Faisalabad division.

She ordered the authorities to initiate cleanliness operations in all tehsils of the four districts in the division in phases.
