Petition: Chief Justice not happy with delay in submission of govt report
LHC CJ took notice of the petition questioning Punjab government's failure to control dengue virus.

The Lahore High Court Chief Justice on Wednesday took serious notice of the Punjab government’s failure to file a reply in connection with a petition questioning its failure to control dengue virus.
Chief Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry observed that people were dying on daily basis, but the government had not even bothered to furnish a report in the court.” He directed a law officer to ensure submission of a reply and a report by September 16.
On September 7, the CJ had sought detailed reports from the health secretary and the district coordination officer.
The petition was filed by Advocate Noshab A Khan who requested the court to order the health secretary to ensure free treatment to the affected.
