Raj Kapoor, the executive producer of the 2025 Grammys, commented on the “standards” at the awards show, suggesting that Bianca Censori and Kanye West didn’t quite meet them.

On Tuesday, Kapoor explained to *People* that the dress code for guests is generally “artistic black-tie,” but he noted that in the music industry, such guidelines are often open to personal interpretation.

Kapoor stated that different “standards” apply to attendees depending on their role at the event — for example, while West, 47, was nominated for best rap song, he did not perform.

“There is definitely a dress code for performers on the show that we have to follow,” Kapoor explained. “But for people who are just attending or nominees, that’s a matter for the [Recording] Academy to address.”

Though the Academy has not provided specific details on their wardrobe policies, CBS issued a “wardrobe advisory” in 2013 that requested “buttocks and female breasts” be "adequately covered" during the event.

The statement, which was shared with *Deadline*, also called for all on-camera talent — including audience members — to comply with Network policy on clothing.

Guests were asked to avoid wearing “sheer” or “see-through” clothing that could expose nipples or the “bare fleshy under curves of the buttock and buttock crack.”

The advisory also emphasized that the “genital region should be adequately covered so there is no visible ‘puffy’ bare skin exposure.”

However, Censori’s revealing outfit seemed to ignore almost all of these “rules.”

The 30-year-old former Yeezy designer walked the red carpet wearing a completely transparent minidress that appeared to be made from sheer stockings. Censori’s bold outfit left little to the imagination as she chose not to wear undergarments.

While she initially wore a black fur coat, she took it off after West reportedly encouraged her to “make a scene,” according to a lip reader.

He allegedly instructed her, “Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you,” to which she responded, “All right, let’s go.”

Sources claim that the couple was attempting to recreate the cover of West’s “Vultures 1” album, where Censori posed topless, wearing only thigh-high boots and a small piece of fabric over her backside.

After walking the red carpet, the couple left without attending the ceremony, instead celebrating at a private afterparty.
