Rapper EBK Jaaybo, born Jaymani Gorman, has been released from prison after serving time for firearm possession and other charges.

The 21-year-old artist garnered attention following his February 3 Instagram post, where he was seen showing off bundles of cash while sitting aboard a flight. The post included several photos and videos, with the caption reading, "Push up I heard he a score I want that."

In the photos, Jaaybo is pictured with a group of individuals dressed in black outfits. The post also showcases him flaunting his money, including one shot where he sits in a car with the door open. Another video features Jaaybo and two others rapping from the window of a car on a busy street. The final clips reveal an anonymous flight staff member bringing cash on a tray, which Jaaybo plays with, tossing it around.

Known for his hit single 'Boogieman,' which topped the charts, Jaaybo has been active in the music industry since 2018. He has released several albums, including 'The Reaper' and 'Sinners Player.' During his time in prison, Jaaybo dropped 'The Reaper' in August 2024, reflecting on his difficult experiences behind bars. In an interview with iHeart Radio, Jaaybo revealed that he did not write the album’s lyrics in advance but instead recorded spontaneously, saying, "I just went in there and just went crazy."

Raised by his rapper father, Rrari, Jaaybo developed an interest in music early, spending time in the studio as a teenager. Despite his musical success, Jaaybo's past is marked by legal issues, including a sentence he received at age 14 for gun and burglary charges. His lyrics often draw from his personal experiences with crime and violence.
