Newborn baby girl found abandoned

A newborn baby girl was discovered abandoned inside a plastic bag at an under-construction house near Gajjumata Chowk on LDA Road, officials confirmed on Friday. According to Rescue 1122, local residents heard the infant crying from within a sealed bag and alerted the police.
