Six kidnapped in North Waziristan

Unidentified gunmen kidnapped six people and drove away two water tankers in three difference incidents in the North Waziristan district of K-P on Wednesday, police and locals said.

In the first incident, unknown armed persons in two vehicles kidnapped five people in the Mir Ali Tehsil, while they were working on electricity poles. In the same area, unidentified persons kidnapped Hamidullah, a Tochi Scouts official, who was on leave.

In yet another incident, unidentified persons took away two tankers supplying water to government offices in the area. Police sources said that the unidentified persons later set one of the tankers fire.
