Rihanna and A$AP Rocky step out amid trial as 50 Cent defends rapper
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are showing resilience despite the rapper’s ongoing assault trial.
The couple was seen enjoying a night out in Los Angeles after Rocky’s long day in court. The two dined at the upscale L.A. restaurant Verse, where Rihanna took a moment to sign autographs for fans outside. One fan asked for her signature to be tattooed on his hand, prompting Rihanna to humorously advise against it.
Rocky, still dressed in the same outfit he wore to court—a white collared shirt, black tie, and tan trench coat—was seen supporting Rihanna, who was dressed in a trench coat, denim shirt, and fresh jeans. While they enjoyed a lighthearted evening, the stakes surrounding Rocky’s trial are high.

The trial, which began on January 24, became more intense as Rocky’s accuser, A$AP Relli, took the stand. Relli testified about an alleged 2021 incident, claiming Rocky pulled a gun on him. Relli described the confrontation, saying two shots were fired, one grazing his hand. Rocky has pleaded not guilty to the two felony assault charges and faces up to 24 years in prison if convicted. He insists that Relli was the aggressor during the encounter.
Amid the ongoing legal battle, 50 Cent has come out in support of Rocky. Reacting to Relli’s testimony, 50 slammed him on Instagram, writing, “Man I hope Rocky alright, this fool just want some money.” He added, “We seen this movie before, it’s a rerun, sucker ass [ninja emoji] smh.” The G-Unit mogul further criticized Relli, calling him out for seeking attention and money, posting, “Relli is out here looking for attention... if this was really about some real sh*t, he wouldn’t be doing this for money.”
