Who is performing at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show?
Kendrick Lamar will perform as the headline act for the Super Bowl 59 halftime show at Caesars Superdome on February 9, with SZA confirmed as a special guest.
Lamar, 37, will take centre stage in New Orleans, three years after appearing in a supporting role during the Super Bowl 57 halftime show featuring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent, and Mary J. Blige.
The performance marks his elevation to a select group of artists who have headlined the event, including Prince, Beyoncé, The Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson.
"Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I'll be there to remind the world why," Lamar said when he was announced late last year.
The event is produced by Roc Nation and Emmy-winning producer Jesse Collins. Creative direction will be handled by pgLang, the company founded by Lamar and Dave Free.
Fox, which will broadcast the game, played an instrumental from Lamar’s track "Not Like Us" as a teaser during the NFC Championship broadcast. The track, released in May 2024, was part of a feud with Drake.
Reports indicate Lamar plans to perform the song during the show.
Super Bowl 59 will be held at Caesars Superdome, with the halftime show airing on Fox and streaming via the Fox Sports app and Fubo.
