Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Noman Ali has made a significant leap in the latest ICC Test bowlers rankings, climbing four places to secure the fifth spot.

This achievement follows his outstanding 10-wicket haul in the recently concluded Test match against the West Indies in Multan.

Noman’s stellar performance was crucial in Pakistan’s effort to level the series 1-1. His ability to dismantle the opposition with precision and consistency has earned him 806 rating points, making him only the 12th Pakistan bowler to surpass 800-points marks in Test bowling rankings.

The 38-year-old spinner has been a reliable performer for Pakistan, regularly delivering match-winning spells. His rise in the rankings highlights the depth of Pakistan’s spin bowling attack and its growing dominance in the longer format of the game.

The latest ICC rankings update also saw West Indies spinner Jomel Warrican climb 16 places to 25th after claiming 19 wickets in the series, earning him the Player of the Series title.

Meanwhile, India’s Jasprit Bumrah continues to lead the Test bowlers rankings following his impressive performances against Australia.

In the T20I rankings, England’s Adil Rashid reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the bowling charts after a strong showing against India, while India’s Varun Chakravarthy moved up 25 places to fifth. England pacer Jofra Archer also jumped 13 spots to sixth.

For batters, Australia’s Travis Head remains at the top of the T20I rankings, but India’s young left-hander Tilak Varma climbed to second place and is closing in on Head’s lead. If Varma overtakes Head, he will become the youngest-ever No. 1 T20I batter, surpassing Babar Azam’s record.
