Dolton mayor Tiffany Henyard caught in wild brawl after activist calls her 'bitch' at board meeting
The boyfriend of embattled mayor and supervisor Tiffany Henyard got into a heated confrontation with an activist who called her a “bitch” before a physical altercation— which included Henyard—erupted during a town board meeting.
Activist Jedidiah Brown directed the expletive at Henyard while speaking during the public comment portion of Tuesday night's chaotic session, according to CBS News.

Brown criticized Henyard, who has been Thornton Township’s supervisor since 2022, calling her a “half-a–ed mayor” and accusing her of “sleeping her way to the top,” while commending newly appointed trustee Stephanie Wiedeman.

“You gone, bitch,” Brown said.

Henyard’s boyfriend, Kamal Woods, who was seated at the back of the room, confronted the activist after his remarks.
The situation quickly escalated as the two exchanged punches, with several of Henyard’s allies joining in.
Henyard was seen leaving her seat at the front of the room, where she sat with the board of trustees, and jumping into the middle of the altercation.
It remains unclear whether Henyard, who is often referred to as the Dolton “dictator,” was attempting to break up the fight or actively participating in it.
“I have never seen a politician jump in and fight like that – it was scary and horrible. It is an embarrassment,” eyewitness Meghan Dudek told NBC Chicago.
Security personnel inside the south suburban Chicago township attempted to control the mayhem as people climbed onto tables, threw punches, and kicked one another.
Amid the chaos, Henyard was knocked to the ground and lost a shoe.
“It should have never come to blows, and Tiffany should have never got involved,” eyewitness Gerald Williams told NBC Chicago.
Brown later claimed the altercation was a “preplanned set up” and alleged that Henyard and her associates have also used the same expletive against him.
“Let’s be clear here, I was fighting them all,” Brown said on Facebook. “Kamal grabbed my jacket in beginning which is why my head was down but I powered through and was over him.
“I still popped every single one of them including Tiffany who hit me first before being picked up like a toddler and having to fight security in the back room by elevator.”
The fight followed an already tense town meeting, where Woods, who co-runs the township’s at-risk youth program alongside William Moore, was a central topic on the meeting’s agenda Tuesday night.
