Kamala Harris spotted at Craig's with husband after election loss to Donald Trump
Former Vice President Kamala Harris was spotted dining at the popular celebrity hotspot Craig’s in West Hollywood on Saturday night.
Harris, 60, was accompanied by her husband, Doug Emhoff, also 60, and what appeared to be a group of entertainment industry figures, including producers and directors.
Sources noted that the couple appeared relaxed and spent over two hours at the restaurant. One observer remarked that there was little security present and no signs of paparazzi activity during their visit.
While some insiders speculated that the dinner meeting could be tied to Hollywood projects, a different source clarified that Harris was simply enjoying a night out with friends, with no discussions about new ventures taking place.
Harris, who recently returned to her home state of California, has been the subject of speculation regarding her next career move. There have been rumors that she could run for California governor in the upcoming election, following her loss to Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race.
In the past, several political figures have transitioned into the entertainment world, with Barack and Michelle Obama signing a multiyear deal with Netflix and Melania Trump securing a deal with Amazon. Craig’s, known for attracting A-listers like Lady Gaga, Elton John, and Kanye West, holds a special significance for Harris and Emhoff, as it was the location of their first date.
Despite the Hollywood rumors, representatives for Harris declined to comment on the matter.
