No Solution: Low-lying JPMC ward flooded
The rain water has been gradually pooling in the low-lying ward since Monday.
KARACHI:
Rainwater flooded the family ward at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) where nearly 1.5 feet of water accumulated. In response, patients were shifted to the wards of the doctors overseeing their cases. The rain water has been gradually pooling in the low-lying ward since Monday and staff there said that it would take another few days for it to be pumped out. The family ward can accommodate up to 35 people.
