Shortly after, a post began circulating online alleging that Trump had made the “third amigo” comment on Truth Social, tying it to Selena’s hit series Only Murders in the Building.

The false post addressed Selena's outcry on Instagram and stated, "Selena, these are people who broke the law by coming here! Some have also committed other horrible crimes. I hope Selena is just as upset about the victims of these crimes. Focus on your career - the people want a sequel to Spring Breakers!"
