One killed in attack on house

A suspect broke into a house in Mehmoodabad, killing one and injuring another, with personal enmity suspected.

An armed suspect broke into a house in Mehmoodabad and opened fire, killing one person and seriously injuring another. As per the initial investigation, police see the incident as a case of personal enmity.

A young man died and another injured in a firing incident at a house in Azam Town, Mehmoodabad on Monday morning. The deceased youth was identified as 26-year-old Musqatullah and injured as Zabihullah. The deceased and injured are brothers.

Saleem, the cousin of victims, said that his younger brother Noman got married a few days ago. The deceased and injured had come from Dera Ismail Khan to attend a wedding ceremony. He said that everyone in the house was sleeping in the morning and there was a power shutdown. They heard gun shots and woke up. They found their cousin had been killed and the other cousin had been shot in the arm. They were taken to Jinnah Hospital. The victims were running a hotel in Dera Ismail Khan.

The cousin suspects personal enmity behind the incident as nothing was stolen from the house.
