Despite this, Akademiks continued with inappropriate comments, prompting Twitch moderator PlaqueBoyMax to publicly denounce the podcaster's actions, describing the situation as "nasty."
In a later livestream, Akademiks defended himself, claiming his comments were misunderstood and emphasizing his past emotional and financial support for NourGxd. However, he also accused PlaqueBoyMax of not doing enough to assist the young streamer.
